The same thing happened to me again with a blow piston during a dyno-run! This engine had all stock FS parts except the washers on the piston pin. Exactly the same type of failure where the piston skirt on the intake side is broken. I now think this is due to the piston skirt 'catching' on the lower edge on the intake port. The piston clearance is quite big when using a stock piston (Zen piston gives less clearance), and the machining is what it is in the cylinder. To prevent/delay this I would recommend that the lower edge of the intake is rounded as well as the skirt edge on the piston. The engine with a Zen piston is still running well and making over 3kW
