hi fsmt just ck thread . looks like i have alot of work ahead . like know about that exhuast pipe . i've been looking at chrome pipe at fsracing site but heard it doesn't fit the port right round to square ? also any thoughts on boost bottles really sounds like good idea.

hello the pipe needs to be opened a bit at the port, but after that it lines up no problem, boost bottles would add to the fun but rather just upgrade you stock engine to a CY or a Zen and maybe get a bigger head..i have not seen anybody with a boost installed so you might be the first to do it.....

hi yes there are alot of people talking a bout these boost bottles but like you say they don't make much improvements to the performance i talk a lot to the guys at the racer meetings and they say its a waste of money the best and cheap way is get a good pipe
and you say hes trying to convert you to a hpi then well keep and eye out on the largescaleforum for the hpi 4wd

All I really did to mine for more power was fit a HPI AIr filter and the FS powerpipe. The round to square port didnt bother me as it still flows better than the stock box muffler. I stripped it down when I got it and went right over everything on the car with a spanner so shes sweet now.

I kept my mods simple -
HPI baja air filter FS Power pipe Hitec servos Metal drive gears and mounting plate
This thing rocks. Handles great.
