nice one!!, that should move her nicely, bashed the crap outta mine on monday and held up fine, im not so happy with the steering though( i still have the normal setup) sickboys setup works much better, he has the servos upside down and then elimainated the bar in the middle using rosejoints instead, his steering is solid, other than that im happy, i want to upgrade to alloy but that will come soon, just need to save a bit... im still running my CY26cc and she is going strong, keeps up with sickboys falcon tuned 26cc
we are working on the stock motor at the moments seeing what needs to be done, we have a few brand new ones lying around so we can look at the errors before running them..
speedy it would be nice if you could get some pics of the FS engine rebuild, and all the things you have changed.. looking forward to seeing your monster in action..

waiting sucks! i should have my next shipment from imex anytime. they are sending me out a new 2.4 ghz prototype radio. i havent had any luck finding an alloy gear tower and time is running out.so it looks as though i will be running the stock tower for the race.ive also got a line on some fg mt tires and wheels. so they will be here in about a week or so. as soon as my parts get here i will start the build, i will get some photos up along with some vids of it running. after i have completed my race at diggers dungeon this truck is going to handed down to my 11 year old daughter! she is very good with rc and is even helping with the build. how cool is that? she runs my 5b and has spent time driving every rc ive had in the last 4 years, so its time for her to have her own. (i am always with her if she is running a large scale car,and our cars are all equipped with picco kill switches) i even hace a body at my painters getting coated with pink, purple and white. hows that for a girl truck.

rinus from rn tuning here in holland has three daughters, they all race MCD's and hormans, lol .. and win too.. sux that you cant locate a gear tower, The plastic tower should hold up ok, try putting some rings around the bearing holders, check my mod thread on rcu, bently marshalls post. he ran a plastic one for quite some time without problems, im looking at the redcat MT wheels? i have seen these and they look good, what do you think about them? that colour scheme sounds similiar to sickboys lol, he is a fluro pink freak, now all ya need is the fiber glass bod to go with it.. let us know how the 2.4ghz prototype works for ya,

the hexes in the redcat wheel s are 22mm? npt 24 like the baja so you would have to use multiple adaptors to make them work or make your own. as far as the wheels and tires the look good but are not up to the quality of you fg wheels. they are also very heavy, most guys have switched to hostiles on baja wheels. its been said on another forum that those wheels are like running with concrete shoes on! LOL but they do look killer! the plastic tower is still going strong on my old fs so im not too worried about it. the evil mail man didnt bring me any goodies today, so friday it is!

okay, so my truck is done and broken in. so far my damages have been one shock came apart and one rose joint has failed on me. i will try to get some alloy arms if i can. money is a real object now.if i cant do that i will replace them with mcd rose joints (i have had great luck with them on all of my other 1/5 scales). it is also looking like my only option for shocks is trying some fg monster truck shocks.(the red ones)i would also like some help with finding some gears for the a&b made from steel in various ratios, maybe 27/36. i wont have enough time before the race at diggers dungeon to try the redcat shafts to see if i can get mcd gears to work. so far all of the guys that have seen this truck in action have been impressed, and they are all mcd owners. granted one guy smoked my a$$ through the field we bash in with his baja 1000 evo 2. but in all fairness he has a worked 28.5 with jet pro running 30/ 33 gears with pro line wheels and hostile a/t tires. this truck can hang with our bajas! on another note there have been many people on the rampage forum showing interest in the fs plat form.here is my take on fs verses redcat:out of the box the redcat performs better and is a little more reliable. if you take them both apart give them a good build and put a bigger power plant on say 28,5 and up. the difference is night and day the redcat will need you to BUY better diff cups (that dont exist yet unless you get them custom made). the shocks are terrible(but can be swapped out with hpi).the gears are crap,as are the bearings, steel c&d gears are available but not a&b. the rollbar is not a functioning item it is all plastic and is basically held in place with body clips.no provisions for dual steering servos so the single servo is very prone to breaking. on the other hand they have the owner of ramtech pushing them as hard as he can.when on his baja forum the mention of anything chinese is looked down on and trashed on. yet now they have the bajer. now for the fs.after a good build the fs CAN handle more powerful motors.it helps to stay away from high rev clutch springs and to modify your brake linkage to soften the impact of a full stop.shocks are an issue that doesnt seem to have very many options.with the parts that companies like imex, fshopups and fs racing usa coming.maybe we can prove to the rest what we have known for a while now.
if any body has a line on some used fg shocks please drop me a line.

are you talking like bentley marshal did on his? the only concern i have about using them is that i dont want to lose any shock travel. if this works it should be an inexpensive fix. you can get fg shocks for about 25.00 each. not bad. those and maybe some elcon springs?ddm is selling the lauterbachers but i only need 4.
