Hi! (moved this from general board) I got my 2wd FS buggy a couple of days ago, and now it's all in pieces to do all fixes i read about, and maybe a few more.. Have a tendency to do things my own way, spending more time than money, so here is my solution to protect the fan from stones/grass etc : I used metal screen (not sure about the correct name for it) and 'welded' it with the soldering iron. At the back/under the engine i used 'chemical metal' to glue the metal screen in place.

He-he, it's actually the living room table! :-) I used 'chemical metal', some kind of two-component stuff that gets really hard and sticks well to metal. Did you use 'hot glue'? Guess you're not driving it hard enough if it did not melt and fall off! :-D I broke my knee on vacation in Thailand, so now I'm on crutches stuck at home most of the time (sick leave). This is why I came up with the idea to get myself a 1:5 again to have something to do while sitting at home in front of the tv. Below is my normal hobby, but can't work on it because of the knee video www.youtube.com/watch?v=delRZV3A8O8project thread www.pure-pf.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12172&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
