Always used to do this on my track cars, nothing worse than a DNF because of an arm popping off.. (Sorry about the picture quality, batteries were out in my camera, used the phone..) Washers are a bit large here, but I just used the ones i happened to have.. Check that the washers are not limiting suspension travel, you might need to file them off or bend them a little.

i've done this on my front suspension arms, but now i've actually snapped one of my front lower plastic A arms at the rose joint... I've had enough lol just bought some mcd lower arms, they are supposed to be much superior plastic, but i noted freeplay in the rose joint (even mcd lol)... so, soon i will make my own aluminium suspension arms, but with 5mm metal rod ends- no more popping off or breaking- ever! woohoo! this plus my soon to be made new 5mm thick chassis pan but with folded edges to stop the chassis nose folding up as soon as it looked at anything, i might actually be able to start getting some trouble free driving lol i just hope the additional weight wont be too much....
