Has anybody tried this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_Z3AIFSd60Good pipes are disturbingly expensive. I'm sure it's easy to get the same power calculating your own pipe, but the problem is making one that fits..

That looks like a great idea to get the curve right and the pipe nice and round. The real question is what is he using to pump it up with and attatching the pressure fitting? You can't bend steel like that with the pressure from your garden hose! Might be a port-a-power used in auto body repair or the hydraulic pump from a jack or shop press. Maybe even a pressure washer. All of which would cost more (if you didn't already have one) than buying an already made pipe. Though you could experiment and also make the pipe any way you wanted it and you will also need the use of a welder to seam the pipe together. I wish I had more time to experiment with this stuff. I'd make ya a pipe if I did! ;>)

Think they are using a pressure washer. 'A friend of a friend' claims to have done this successfully too. I have no pressure washer, and no TIG welder (think that would be needed to get a good seam welding the thin sheet metal in parallel like that).
