This is what i did to aid cooling when the standard exhaust is removed. Cut it from a piece of alu.
Will keep the cooling air blowing on the cylinder, and should also act as an extra heat sink
on the hot exhaust side of the cylinder.
Not 100% finished on the pic, but you get the idea.
