hi all , having problems with jumps front end keeps nosing down still running stock shocks for now . just woundering what possition/holes you run in . also I've been tring diff oils started low like atf ,10wt,30wt,50wt is next

I suspect the bad jumping characteristics of these cars has to do with the rotational direction of the engine vs wheels. Accelerating or decelerating a lot of rotational mass rotating in the same direction will pitch the car forward/backwards With most cars you can control the pitch of the car in air with the throttle, but on these, the rotation of the engine and wheels are opposite, so the forces are canceling each other out.
Of course better suspension travel and setup will help, but I still think the lack of control in the air is the main problem...

yup they are not the best jumpers, but if you use hard springs at the back and soft ones on the front, it helps prevent it from nose diving.. the stock FS shocks are not really the best shocks for jumps either..

thanks for the input . I know I need a set of shocks .looking into a set of luaterbachers in the future. for now i'll keep on trying . working on a support plate on front a-arms to diff. support to keep it from bending up .
