I had some ideas to modify the rear wing for some time, but finally got to it today. The angle and area did not seem sufficient to make any effect in the speeds the car is driven. I also had some ideas that more wing would balance a little in the jumps. Here is the result I added a plastic strip in the rear edge of the spoiler improving the area. I also modified the bracket for it to give it more angle. I removed a 'vedge' in the front of the bracket and added it to the rear, you can see the piece added if you look closely on the first picture. I made new holes for the clips too, to hold the wing tightly in place. I did some driving after the mod, and I'm convinced it made a diffrence! The car is understeering a little at high speeds now, and is more stable in the rear. It was a bit nervous going at high speeds in a straight line before. I have not done any serious jumps, but it in some minor jumps I did, it seemed to land better. Now the wing is not only for show

Thank's! Was an easy mod though! I think the difference in handling when driving full speed was too much to be my imagination I'm sure it could be improved further if i made a new one. Maybe to experiment, you could cut some piece of plastic (old oil cannister or similar?) that you mount on the car to see how it works. I guess you are driving a MT without a wing? Just to clarify some principles, the angle can be quite steep to accelerate the air in an upwards motion, and it needs some sides too, to 'scoop up' the air. Look at a F1 spoiler from a slow track like Monaco, that should be a good shape for our relatively slow cars. They have a really steep rear part of the wing. Slots/steps in the wing are not really necessary on our level The further rear it can be mounted, the greater the effect. And bigger is better!

Nice! If you add some more material to that one, it should make a difference. My recommendation is to add an extra lip to the rear of abt 2cm height with a steep angle, and some endplates making the air go over the wing instead of around the sides. Of course you can try it as it is, and see if there is a difference, and then add some more to the wing and try again. No need to make permanent modifications, you can use some pieces of plastic and strong tape for testing. Please report on the results!

My veridict is that the wing modification did not help the jumping (at least not significantly), car still nose-dives as it always has..
