Hi folks. I just got hold of two 2wd buggy's for a nice price. One for me and one for my friend. I have thought about it for months and months, but not sure what to buy. Now then, i am an FS owner. I've spent hours reading the threads on RCuniverse about these cars, and was very pleased to stumble upon this FS forum.
A little info about the cars; Mine has a 23ccm CY engine and a FS tuned pipe, but my friends car is bone stock. The absolutely first step is ofcourse to get 4wd kits for both cars. I started by pulling my buggy apart and plan to do all the mods with the diff and check bearings etc. etc.
There was mention made earlier in this thread about the 4wd chassie beeing wider at the front than the 2wd. I have already ordered the radio tray kit for the 4wd to get two stearing servos. Does this mean it wont fit? (maybe i should take my tech questions in the right subforum?)
Anyways....Hope i can share some pics and experience soon.

Hi and welcome you said 2 fs cars nice real nice if you have this type 2wd chassis then it wont fit properly because the 2 servo set up is wider here's the difference's in chassis you would need a alloy servo try if you have the narrow chassis Take a look here 2WD and this one is the 4WD but there is a 2wd with this chassis as well

Thanks guys for the welcome I hope all of you have had a nice weekend. I got the servo tray saturday and did some searches and found pictures of the 4wd chassie altso. Im wondering if i should get a new chassie or just make a alloy tray for the servos. I have even thought about making a new chassie from duraluminium. we'll see. Anyways, i ordered a new body and the 4wd convertion kit from zerogravity. I cant wait to get out and drive this beast.

hi, have been looking at forum for info about F's king Kong. I have the 2wd and have had nothing but problems from day 1. Had to replace both servos, all 4 wheels have been stripped 1 destroyed the rear hub shaft, and two of the shocks. Need some good recommendations for good rims\wheels that will fit and shocks to go for. thanks for any input

Well, time to set Sweden to this map too..... ;D Since I placed my order for a Reely Carbon Fighter 4WD RTR yesterday I think I´m about to pay this site a visit more often And as has been said before....no clone-haters in here as far as I can see I´m a totally insane Swedish guy that drove alot 1:8 buggy 15 years ago. At that time I had to sell it in favour of a driving licence and a MC. From time to time, I´ve been dreaming of a 1:6 /1:5 petrol buggy or monster, but never had a chance. Now, I´m curious about this Reely car. Back in the days I only used Kyosho´s models.... Hopefully the Carbon Fighter is about average in quality, and that some problems could be solved here.... Real nice to have a dedicated forum !!! C ya´

Wow, seems a bit slow on the site... FS owners aren't post sleepers or what?
