Hi! Just wanted to report on a longer intake insulator I put on the FS engine . Here is the old and new: My experience is that the engine sounds a bit nicer, and there is a bit more midrange torque/response, but not much. I think for major changes in engine character, the pipe is the only way! This cost abt 30Eur from rc-caronline (Germany), but there is not a lot of bang for the buck. It also needed some porting to match the intake of the FS engine.

yup that's a bit on the high side €30 and then you have to get it shipped to mmm i was thinking of doing this my self but for that price i will have to look around for the right price they do help i know plenty guys using them they do see a major improvement

I was thinking of modifying the stock intake, but did not feel like it at the moment... Should be possible to 'mold' an extension to the stock intake using 'chemical metal' or similar.
