what is the shock oil weight that most people are using
would 30wt be ok

The tricky thing is that the same weight has different viscosity depending on the manufacturer.. I had a bottle of associated 30w that was significantly thinner that a harm 30w.. and FG oils seem even a little bit thicker.. I have been running FG 50W rear and 60w (or is it 500/600 FG calls it?) front while i used the FS shocks. But i had long shocks front and rear and harder springs in the rear too.

i have associated 30-40-70 wt and axail 30wt which would work in the stock shocks with stock springs

40 could work in the rear, but is probably a bit thin. I would try the 70 in the front, maybe it works in the rear too.
