thats what im talking about, i still cant find any spec on the length , and shaft diameter for the redcat shocks though. i hear they are strong out of the box and the phatdad stuff is awsome. redcat also has some shocks that are piggybacks i can get them for 60.00 a pair. that deal fs*mt*4wd found looks nice! i wish i could just hope in the car and drive over and split the cost, but that is a pretty big pond! i think it wouldbe worth the drive though!!!

These shafts are a 4.8mm dia heat treated stainless steel shaft. Now you will be able to better tune your redcats suspension using the HPI hyper adjust disk. Also no more c-clips. Kits will come with every thing you see here except you will have to install your stock lower shaft ball end(not supplied). Rampage hopups should have these kits in stock in the next couple weeks. New shock towers coming soon. i116.photobucket.com/albums/o32/phatdad_01/IMG_1887.jpg hey speedy.d maybe you could use these

i think i may have come up with a way to make this work. the mcd race runner has shock tower extentions if these were to be installed on an mt shock tower yuo should have enough room to mount 5b/redcat front shocks. with the parts from phatdad you get a 4.8mm shock shaft. the length hpi lists for the 5b front shock is 187mm, the fs rear shock is 168mm. i think this may be a good project to try. if anyone has any suggestions or coments for or against this i would love to hear it before i go buying parts.
