Hello! Long since my last post here Just thought I would share my findings with some engine mods i did to a FS engine. I started out with a stock FS engine, and replaced the piston with a Zenoah piston for better durability. Engine: www.rc-car-boxenstop.de/product_info.php?info=p1045_30ccm-reely-motor.htmlFirst I dynoed the stock engine with my modified FS pipe, then I removed the cylinder gasket (for higher compression) and dynoed again Blue: No cylinder gasket Black: with gasket Next step was to replace the bearings, and put in a crank i straightened, and port the cylinder. Here is the before and after: Then I tried it with a another modified pipe I have (Rovan pipe, red curve) Then I tried to extend the intake by 15mm (red curve) Here is some info about the porting: Intake 150deg (only a little wider) Transfers 130 (higher and reshaped) Exhaust 175 (higher and wider) As a first mod, I recommend that you remove the gasket if you still have it in there I just use some gasket silicone to seal it, and it works fine!

Thanks rallyfinnen for the idea of removing the gasket. Just done that. By the way, when you remove the gasket you need to adjust coil position (raise it), as it will scratch the magnetic wheel.
