After reading a lot about this truck, the impression I got is if one is not so mechanically inclined, it's best to stay away from it for now till'' they've done some major improvement on this truck. this one guy was even talking about tearing down to pieces his brand new truck and do a lot of mods on it. OUCH! That's going to put a big dent on anyone's wallet. Not my cup of tea. I'm looking for a second monster truck after I got my Rampage XT and my XT is flawless. MCD is way too expensive so that too is out. Any suggestions?

Well there is alot of clone haters out there .I do not see any fully stock 5th scale that races that has not been modded to do so.
As for any prebuilt r/c you should go over it .for a few reasons 1 you will know how /were /an way it was made that way.
2 things get put together in not a good way you can catch it before it tears up a bunch of exspencive bits.
3 that is half the fun of it is building these to be the best it can be...for me anyways
4 I did run mine a full tank before I went over it .the second run was way more enjoyable.after I adjusted the wheel alignment an loctited a few screws.
5 as for a dent in the wallet welcome to 5th scale it is not cheap .lol
