Has anyone ever done this or considered doing this? What would be involved besides the obvious, changing wheels/tires/shock absorbers and the body shell? Is there a huge difference between these cars? I would love to be able to change the car when I feel like some circuit racing or off road bashing. ;D

if you are running the 24/39 gear set you will want to change it over to 30/33. you may also want to run a buggy front tower/ shock set up on both ends so you can mount the body down to the ground as much as close as you can.

you would need wheels shocks body and the side covers wont fit cause the mt has raised sides and the diffrent gear ratio,

sounds good, i will look into it but in the meantime im still doing basic udgrades, like the diffs thanks for your suggestions fsmt4wd and all the helpfull pics, I've suffered broken pins in the front diff which in turn has damaged a bearing so im waiting on bits and im doing the mods you suggested. Im also putting in steel gears and the mcd radio tray with the 2 hitec servos for steering before I throw in my new zen 270. The touring car conversion might come in later once all the basic stuff is done.
